“I now, in front of the ENTIRE UNIVERSE, pronounce you husband and wife.”
Warp Space, a small business in Japan, is offering newlyweds the chance to make their union universal with wedding plaques launched into space. According to United Press International, Warp Space will print a titanium plate with the names of the betrothed and put it, along with a few hundred other plaques, in one of a series of small cubes to be released into space from the International Space Station. Astronauts will memorialize the launching by taking photographs, which will then be sent to the newlyweds. The service costs $270.
