The unofficial “uniform” for Bay Area techies and venture capital investors is a vest, so the Japanese small business Uniqlo is cashing in with a vest vending machine at the San Francisco International Airport.
It’s no joke – the machine, on average, takes in $10,000 monthly, according to Business Insider. At $49.90, the company is selling about 200 of its ultra-light vest each month.
What’s next? Shoe vending machines next to the shoe-shine stand? Talk about sole power.
