It folds like a wallet, and will no doubt empty your wallet.
It’s the Samsung Galaxy Fold – a flexible device that converts from a phone to a tablet. It will be available April 26, initially only for AT&T and T-Mobile.
The device has a 4.6-inch display when folded, and a 7.3-inch display when unfolded into a tablet. In addition, the phone comes with:
• 12 gigabytes of RAM
• 512 GB of memory
• Six cameras: a 12-megapixel wide-angle camera; a 12-megapixel telephoto camera and a 16-megapixel ultra-wide camera. Inside are two cameras: a 10-megapixel selfie camera and an 8-megapixel depth camera. A camera on the front is also a 10-megapixel selfie camera.
• Technology that allows apps to transition seamlessly between the display sizes.
• Three active apps when the device is unfolded called Multi-Active Window.
• A starting price of $1,980.
